Originally filmed using IMAX cameras and exhibited in IMAX theaters, Beavers has delighted audiences all over the world. Since its release in 1987, Beavers has played to over 14 million people, continuing one of the longest theatrical runs in the history of the format. This DVD version of the film, digitally mastered and transferred using the original film elements, has been produced in a manner that meets or surpasses anything available in the format today. The sound components have been specially mixed down to produce an outstanding Dolby Digital 5.1 home theatre experience.
