The Director Tolga Örnek premiered with his documentary "Atatürk" and won the third place in the US International Film and Video Festival. Planeta-BECA (Spain). In 2000, he directed a 52-minute English language documentary entitled Mount Nemrud: The Throne of the Gods which traced the story of the most spectacular ancient monument in Turkey. His second docu won again several prices world wide. In 2003 he wrote, produced and directed, The Hittites, a two-hour docu-drama narrated by Jeremy Irons, which has become the first documentary to be theatrically released in Turkey.
His last work "Gallipoli" is again a very well-made documentary which was strongly supported by many company sponsors, the australian war memorial museum and the turkish ministry of culture. It won several film festivals.
