TOUCHING THE VOID

Touching The Void recounts the mountain climb Joe Simpson and his partner Simon Yates undertook in 1985.
The film follows the two young men from the north of England, both in their early twenties, as they set out to climb the 21,000 foot iceface - the Siula Grande - in the Peruvian Andes.
The expedition goes terribly wrong, and this is their heroic battle for survival.
